The unthinkable happens....

Last week a fire broke out at the Titus Farm and destroyed a barn full of a man's life work. Anton Zaic, brother of the legendary Frank Zaic, modeler expert and creator of JASCO, had stored his art work, equipment, papers and magazines many dated back to the 1950's and earlier in this barn. Anton and his wife lived in Kendall park just across from Titus Farm. They owned half of the farm and grew a orchard there. The ruins of the fire left behind a ledger and some of his tile work, glass work and vases. Through these items Chuck and myself were able to quickly piece the story together while eventually finding the family. Sadly Anton's son informed me the township had told him long ago the contents had been stored which they were not, the barn is a total lost. Above is a example of Anton's work and the barn ruins.

Rutgers finishes Cinderella Season

Well the men in red ended the season in style with a commanding victory. My hats off to every member of the Scarlett Knights and let's keep this going in 2007.

RU! RU! RU!

Times here!

Well the time is now. Turkey is eaten, the tree is dead, time for me, to put the Titus Farm ahead.

I have a ton of letters to send invitations to write and aggressive ideas to act upon. Looks like the Farm marker dedication will happen on June 7th. Since I plan to attempt to secure at least one big wig speaker I have my work cut out. This should be a fun new year I hope. Let the games begin!!!
