The EVA connection...

There are not many times in your life you can sense a life altering experience but in 2005 it happened to me. My dear friends at the EVA convinced me to speak at the Slavery Symposium. That one decision has lead to many other opportunities for me and for that I am grateful. I can't even begin to thank them enough for the confidence they showed in me and the opening of my eyes to my life's passion. Jean has especially opened my eyes to the importance of speaking up and letting your voice be heard. I may not be as aggressive as you Jean but I sure did swipe some passion. I prefer to speak softly and carry a big stick. In my case that stick is chocked full of knowledge as was Mr. Eko's in Lost. (Rest in Peace Eko..)
